Weakness of Mine
Weakness of mine, often visiting me uninvited.
You are my trial, that I have to pass to be tested.
Will I succeed? Am I good for the measure selected
Where freedom and happiness by the strong are delighted?
Apple tree branches bow down under weight of sweet apples
Of different kinds, ripened gently by Sun for my pleasure.
Serpents so slick singing sweet serenades of gold treasures
Sweaty fat demons are dancing to please them in battles.
Keep away from me, Devil, cause your breath smells like ashes,
All your songs are familiar to me, they sound like danger,
Blind salacity follows the lust of a stranger
And undoubtedly will doom my frail creature to perish.
Sophisticated enough in the art of temptation,
You are so strong. I’m so weak and oppressed by seduction.
However, I won’t let infirmity cause self-destruction,
Cause living my life everyday is the real elation.
How many of you have I met? Was the cup overflowing?
Doesn’t matter at all if your crowd will be bigger.
Need my boundless soul always be on the trigger
Need my power to fill me to brim and be growing.
Weakness of mine, often visiting me uninvited…
